Removable Prostheses

As a rule, they are necessary for patients who are missing most of their teeth. In this case most of the pressure is exerted on the gum and clammers (these are special clamps made from unoxidizable metal that are used for fixing the denture) perform only the supporting function. It takes more time to get used to such dentures and a lot depends on the patient’s psychological acceptance

Cast clammers exert some pressure on the anchoring teeth that is why this type of denture is recommended to those patients who have quite a lot of natural teeth left. Metal framed denture is more comfortable, improves chewing ability and diminishes the adaptation period.

It’s a more functional and aesthetic type of dentures but to apply it the abutment teeth are covered with special crowns with a micro-lock. The denture also has a matrix that helps the lock to snap.

Non-Removable Prostheses (including crowns and bridges)

Metal ceramic constructions is the most popular way of non-removable prosthetics. They are very durable and have a good aesthetic effect. The biggest negative of this type of prosthetics is that the dentist needs to file down your tooth in order to make room for the dental crown.

Metal free crowns. Although they give you the best possible match for tooth colour, they are not as durable as the metal ceramic dental crowns. Metal-free ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth

Zircon based ceramic crowns. This way of prosthetics combines durability and excellent aesthetics that will satisfy the most demanding patient.

Microprosthetics with the help of veneers and inlays. These constructions are durable, do not change color with time and in this way they are a good alternative to fillings.
